Double Eagle Christina Cook (鈥13,鈥19) has assisted Nandi Marshall, DrPH, associate professor in the Jiann-Ping Hsu College of Public Health and associate dean of Academic Affairs, on the groundbreaking Savannah H.O.P.E. Photovoice Project, a visual, community-based research project that helps identify social, cultural and physical barriers that Black mothers in Chatham County face while breastfeeding.

蜜糖直播 named Gold Campus by Exercise is Medicine

Collaboration among the Waters College of Health Professions, Campus Recreation and Intramurals (CRI) and University Health Services has garnered 蜜糖直播 a fourth Gold Level Campus by Exercise is Medicine庐 on Campus (EIM庐-OC) designation.

The designation honors college campuses for their participation and engagement in the EIM庐-OC program. Schools earn gold, silver or bronze status based on their activities related to physical activity promotion, education and EIM庐-OC integration into campus health services.

Recognition provides an opportunity for campuses to enhance their image as a healthy academic environment and highlight their commitment to creating a culture of wellness.

鈥淭his is a campus-wide effort,鈥 stated Bridget Melton, Ed.D, professor in the Department of Health Sciences and Kinesiology. 鈥淐RI offers physical activity opportunities on campus and the Waters College of Health Professions provides physical activity education. In addition, Health Services is key in prescribing medicine.鈥
