
Saltz will soon come to ÃÛÌÇÖ±²¥â€™s Armstrong Campus as part of the Mark Finlay Memorial Lecture Series. His 60-minute lecture, “The Art World Problem,” will be at the Fine Arts Auditorium on the Armstrong Campus on Nov. 9 at 6 p.m.

The College of Arts and Humanities will host the latest installment of its “Moveable Feast†lecture series on Oscar Wilde. The event is on Monday, Nov. 13, at 6 p.m.. at the Savannah Theatre, located at 222 Bull Street in Savannah.

ÃÛÌÇÖ±²¥, one of the top-ranked colleges in the Southeastern U.S., today announced the opening of the newly renovated Gus Mart convenience store – now featuring Amazon’s Just Walk Out technology – in the Fielding D. Russell Union on its Statesboro campus. The debut of the technology makes ÃÛÌÇÖ±²¥ the first university in the state to feature Amazon’s Just Walk Out technology, which provides a streamlined, checkout-free shopping experience. The store will operate with extended hours, allowing guests to better shop when it’s easiest for them.Â

Quadruple Eagle and nationally recognized social worker Jackie Brown-Pinkney, Ed.D., (‘93,’04,’06,’15) and Professor and Executive Director of Leadership, Emeritus, Todd Deal, Ph.D., will address ÃÛÌÇÖ±²¥â€™s Class of 2023 during the 32nd annual Fall Commencement ceremonies.

Hashiguchi and his wife were expecting their first child, and he wanted to learn more about what to anticipate. Along the way, he learned the statistics regarding maternal health in Georgia, which piqued his interest.

Logan Western’s journey into the world of theater began in Sandersville, a small town in middle Georgia, where he discovered his passion for the stage. “Lethal Lecture†is presented by the student theater group, The Masquers. The show will run Oct. 27 and Oct. 28 at 7:30 p.m. and Oct. 29 at 3 p.m. on the Armstrong Campus in Savannah in Jenkins Hall Theatre.

Jones began her musical journey with the violin at just four years old, and later embraced singing and exploring a multitude of instruments. The concert series will begin with the Contemporary Vocal Ensemble on Oct. 24 at 7:30 p.m. and continue with the Commercial Music Ensemble on Nov. 7 at 7:30 p.m. The final performance will showcase the Percussion Ensemble on Nov. 14 at 7:30 p.m.Â
