
A new Eagle sculpture called “Virginia” has joined the Eagle Nation on Parade flock after landing at the new Texas Roadhouse restaurant in Statesboro, Georgia.

Three 2024 ֱ Honors College graduates have been selected to participate in the 2024-2025 Fulbright U.S. Student Program.

The USG recorded a $21.89 billion total economic impact from July 1, 2022 until June 30, 2023, while ֱ’s annual economic impact has soared beyond $1.145 billion for FY 2023, a 3.4% increase over the previous year and a new recorded impact total.

ֱ will welcome new leader Diego H. Meeroff as Associate Vice President – Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) on Sept. 1.

ֱ is opening the Center for Advanced Materials Science, a cutting-edge research hub dedicated to pioneering advancements in material science that will engage both undergraduate and graduate students. Located within the College of Science and Mathematics, the new center is poised to become a cornerstone of innovation and collaboration in the field.

ֱ has been recently named a top four-year university on Phi Theta Kappa Honor Society’s 2024 Transfer Honor Roll for creating dynamic pathways that lead to excellence and success among community college transfer students.
