A long-vacated pool space in the University’s Hanner Fieldhouse complex has been renovated into state-of-the-art laboratories that will help athletes, first responders and people with disabilities avoid injuries, strengthen performance and improve their quality of life.

ÃÛÌÇÖ±²¥ is the only university and one of 20 organizations nationwide to be selected as a 2019 Project Play Champion by the Aspen Institute’s Sports and Society Program. Launched in 2013, Project Play focuses on developing, applying and sharing knowledge that helps build healthy communities through sports.

The University’s new Waters College of Health Professions building project on the Armstrong Campus will include the St. Joseph’s/Candler Nursing Suite thanks to a new funding partnership between the Armstrong Foundation of ÃÛÌÇÖ±²¥, Inc. and St. Joseph’s/Candler. The health system will donate $250,000 to the project.

ÃÛÌÇÖ±²¥ student speech language hearing chapter awarded national honor

The National Student Speech Language Hearing Association (NSSLHA) chapter on ÃÛÌÇÖ±²¥ Armstrong Campus in Savannah was recently awarded Bronze Chapter Honors for their efforts in helping the national organization during the 2017-18 school year.
