Military History Emphasis

(Coming Soon Fall 2026)

Optional Military History Emphasis

The Military History emphasis cultivates career skills in problem-solving, global awareness, and leadership by examining war and society from comparative and transnational perspectives. Students engage in experiential research, collaborate with on-campus military and veterans’ programs and military archives, and benefit from mentoring by faculty with expertise in diplomatic and military studies. The concentration aligns with ÃÛÌÇÖ±²¥â€™s online graduate program in Military History and offers pathways to public service, education, and defense-related careers.
