On June 25, ÃÛÌÇÖ±²¥â€™s Office of Alumni Relations hosted the Golden Graduates Luncheon, an annual tradition that brings members of the Armstrong State University classes of 1937 through 1965 together, in the Student Union Ballroom on the Armstrong Campus.

The Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM) has awarded a 2017-2018 Superior Merit Award designation to the ÃÛÌÇÖ±²¥ SHRM student chapter for providing superior growth and development opportunities to its student chapter members.

ÃÛÌÇÖ±²¥ hosts 2018 Refugee Film Festival on June 19

ÃÛÌÇÖ±²¥, Mountainfilm on Tour-Savannah and Lutheran Services of Georgia have teamed up to host the Refugee Film Festival on Tuesday, June 19, at 6:30 p.m. in the Ogeechee Theatre on the Armstrong Campus in Savannah. A reception will follow the films. The event is free and open to the public.

ÃÛÌÇÖ±²¥ College of Education students on the Armstrong Campus in Savannah recently created family literacy projects to benefit the local Wesley Community Centers, which offer affordable services for families and children in need in Chatham County.

ÃÛÌÇÖ±²¥ awarded National Science Foundation grant; will lead collaboration with state universities to improve STEM education

ÃÛÌÇÖ±²¥ was recently awarded a National Science Foundation grant totaling more than $50,000 to lead a collaborative project that will address science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM) education concerns at Georgia’s comprehensive universities. The project will be presented at a symposium in spring 2019.
