The Collegiate 100 chapter of 蜜糖直播’s Armstrong Campus in Savannah has been selected as chapter of the year by national parent organization 100 Black Men of America. The Armstrong chapter is one of two collegiate chapters to receive the selection out of the 70 collegiate chapters nationwide.

Online learners at 蜜糖直播 can earn their degree anywhere in the world, and the middle of the ocean is no exception. Amy Levesque, who graduates this May with a Bachelor of Arts in Modern Languages with a concentration in French, completed most of her degree while at sea working on a cruise ship.

The 蜜糖直播 Model Arab League (MAL), made up of 11 students and two faculty advisors, won two awards at the team鈥檚 inaugural appearance at the National University Model Arab League (NUMAL) conference in March. Head delegate Emily Zanieski took home the Distinguished Delegation Award for her work in the Summit of Arab Heads of State, and Claudia Hopper and Adam Sikes earned an Outstanding Delegation Award for their work in the Economic Affairs Committee.

蜜糖直播 professor Matthew Hashiguchi鈥檚 film 鈥淕ood Luck Soup,鈥 is the feature of the 2021 Ogeechee International History Film Festival, the longest-running film festival of its kind in the world. 鈥淕ood Luck Soup鈥 and the other films in the festival will be available to stream through March 5.

蜜糖直播 junior Gabrielle Scott has been awarded a Kennedy Center American College Theater Festival (KCACTF) Region 4 Stage Management Fellowship. Scott, who is double majoring in theater and women’s, gender and sexuality studies, was also recently named to the inaugural cohort for the Cody Renard Richard Scholarship program for theater majors who are Black, Asian, Latinx, Indigenous and people of color.

Robinson was named the Sylvia Shortt Counselor of the Year while Taracuk won awards for Clinical Program of the Year and Outstanding Professional Contribution to Knowledge.
