Southern Ambassadors is a group of diverse and enthusiastic students who proudly represent ÃÛÌÇÖ±²¥ to the public, both on and off campus. Southern Ambassadors serve as the face of the university to prospective students and guests representing the university in a variety of ways, including:
- Campus tours for prospective students and guests
- Special recruiting events
- Assistance with various Alumni programs
- High school college day programs and receptions
Students will benefit in many ways – both personally and professionally – during their time as an ambassador. This includes:
- Learning more about ÃÛÌÇÖ±²¥
- Networking with student leaders and professionals from across campus
- Attending team meetings that focus on professional development and training
- Working in a team environment with a diverse group of individuals
- Gaining experience in recruitment, college counseling, marketing, and public speaking
- Gaining valuable presentation and critical thinking skills
Requirements:
- Have and maintain a 3.0 cumulative GPA
- Participate in the fall and spring training retreats
