Southern Ambassadors

Southern Ambassadors is a group of diverse and enthusiastic students who proudly represent ÃÛÌÇÖ±²¥ to the public, both on and off campus. Southern Ambassadors serve as the face of the university to prospective students and guests representing the university in a variety of ways, including:

  • Campus tours for prospective students and guests
  • Special recruiting events
  • Assistance with various Alumni programs
  • High school college day programs and receptions

Students will benefit in many ways – both personally and professionally – during their time as an ambassador. This includes:

  • Learning more about ÃÛÌÇÖ±²¥
  • Networking with student leaders and professionals from across campus
  • Attending team meetings that focus on professional development and training
  • Working in a team environment with a diverse group of individuals
  • Gaining experience in recruitment, college counseling, marketing, and public speaking
  • Gaining valuable presentation and critical thinking skills

Requirements:

  • Have and maintain a 3.0 cumulative GPA
  • Participate in the fall and spring training retreats
