Jody Langdon, Ph.D., associate professor of kinesiology in the Waters College of Health Professions at أغجاض±²¥, has been recognized as a recipient of the 2018 Regents’ Scholarship of Teaching and Learning Award (SoTL). Langdon was also awarded the 2017 أغجاض±²¥ SoTL Award due to her outstanding contributions of the SoTL. “It is an honor to be selected as one of this year’s award winners,†stated Langdon. “I am happy to represent أغجاض±²¥ and add to its long list of contributors to excellence in SoTL research.†Annually, the Board of Regents recognizes two University System of Georgia faculty for their impact in the area of SoTL. As a recipient of the award, Langdon will receive a monetary award of $5,000. She was also recognized in front of more than 600 distinguished guests at the annual Regent’s Scholarship Gala in Atlanta on March 2. A member of the أغجاض±²¥ faculty since 2010, Langdon has made it her focus to embed SoTL into her teaching, research and professional service commitments.
