Jody Langdon wins second Scholarship of Teaching and Learning Award

Jody Langdon, Ph.D., associate professor of kinesiology in the Waters College of Health Professions at أغجاض±²¥, has been recognized as a recipient of the 2018 Regents’ Scholarship of Teaching and Learning Award (SoTL). Langdon was also awarded the 2017 أغجاض±²¥ SoTL Award due to her outstanding contributions of the SoTL. “It is an honor to be selected as one of this year’s award winners,â€‌ stated Langdon. “I am happy to represent أغجاض±²¥ and add to its long list of contributors to excellence in SoTL research.â€‌ Annually, the Board of Regents recognizes two University System of Georgia faculty for their impact in the area of SoTL. As a recipient of the award, Langdon will receive a monetary award of $5,000. She was also recognized in front of more than 600 distinguished guests at the annual Regent’s Scholarship Gala in Atlanta on March 2. A member of the أغجاض±²¥ faculty since 2010, Langdon has made it her focus to embed SoTL into her teaching, research and professional service commitments.
