Biology professor featured in American Entomologist Magazine
James H. Oliver Jr., Ph.D (`52), was recently featured in the Winter 2016 edition of American Entomologist in a piece titled, “Ticks, Lyme Disease, and a Golden Gloves Champion.â€
The eight-page-spread, written by Marlin E. Rice, captures the life and research of the ÃÛÌÇÖ±²¥ professor of biology emeritus, his contributions to the field and research in Lyme Disease.
In 2013, ÃÛÌÇÖ±²¥ named the James H. Oliver, Jr., Institute of Arthropodology and Parasitology, now the James H. Oliver, Jr., Institute for Coastal Plain Science, for the professor, who also served as a director for 19 years in the College of Science and Mathematics.
