Kaku will speak Friday, May 10 at 1 p.m. at Hanner Fieldhouse during the commencement ceremony for graduate students. Commissioner Aguilar will address undergraduates as they receive their degrees on Saturday, May 11 at 9 a.m. at Paulson Stadium. Luis Aguilar was appointed to the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission by President George W. Bush in 2008 and reappointed by President Barack Obama in 2011 to continue overseeing the country鈥檚 financial markets. Aguilar arrived in the U.S. when he was six years old as his family escaped communist Cuba.
