ÃÛÌÇÖ±²¥ to Host Open House Nov. 13
High school students preparing for college and their families will have a unique opportunity to spend a day on a university campus when ÃÛÌÇÖ±²¥ hosts its Open House Saturday, Nov. 13, 2010 from 8:00 a.m. until 12:00 noon.
The Open House is geared towards high school students who are currently in the process of selecting a college. The event allows students to tour the campus, meet members of the University’s administration, and learn about the academic and student-life opportunities at ÃÛÌÇÖ±²¥.
Students and parents can explore the campus together and or they can choose to attend separate sessions. Tours include a look inside residence halls and academic buildings. Information sessions touch on everything from admissions requirements and financial aid to student life activities at ÃÛÌÇÖ±²¥.
Visitors to campus will see for themselves why record numbers of students continue to select ÃÛÌÇÖ±²¥ as their first-choice University. ÃÛÌÇÖ±²¥ has the only College of Information Technology in the state and is home to premier education and nursing programs. The University’s Jiann-Ping Hsu College of Public Health is a leader in preparing professionals for healthcare careers and undergraduate students in the Allen E. Paulson College of Science and Technology are conducting cutting-edge research in the science of biofuel development.
